Planets and numbers choose – Astrology, numbers and the result of the US elections
Astrology and numerology “tell the same story” very harmoniously. I will show with the following examples how planets and numbers choose, and that it is not a common phrase or some philosophical premise.
I use the astro-numerological method that i developed and teach in my course The Astrology of Numbers.
Important notes:
- Jyotish astrology uses the sidereal zodiac – and i recommend it.
- The focus is on the person’s ascendant which represents: fame, resources, self…
- The planets (in linear order) choose their representatives, who can be identified by having the numerological number of the planet associated with their natal ascendants.
. . .
The election for the 43rd President of the USA was held in 2000. George W. Bush won. He was thus elected as the 43rd president of the USA.
Numerologically, 43 is reduced to 4 +3 = 7, and that is KETU in (jyotish) astrology.
Bush has Ketu in the fifth house (power) in his sign Scorpio. Ketu is aspected by the ascendant and is in the constellation of Jyeshta whose ruler Mercury is on the ascendant = Victory!
Al Gore has Ketu in the 4th house and is not connected to the ascendant = defeat in the race for the 43rd (Ketu) President of the USA!
. . .
The next elections in the USA were held in 2004. George W. Bush won again. He thus continued his mandate as the 43rd (Ketu) President of the USA.
Bush has Ketu in the fifth house in his sign Scorpio (strong). Ketu is aspected by the ascendant and is in the constellation of Jyeshta whose ruler Mercury is on the ascendant = victory!
John Kerry has Ketu in the 3rd house in Capricorn aspecting the ascendant. He received a large number of votes, but his opponent still more = Defeat!
RULE: When a planet is in its own sign, it tends to bring success TWICE!
Bush has Ketu in his own sign (Scorpio) and was given the opportunity to be president of the USA twice.
. . .
The election for the 44th president of the USA was held in 2008. Barack Obama won.
Numerologicaly 44 is reduced to 4 + 4 = 8, which is Saturn in jyotish.
So, Saturn’s favorite must have Saturn on the ascendant or strongly conjunct the ascendant. Saturn otherwise represents the masses, workers, humiliated…
Barack Obama has Saturn in his sign, Capricorn. At the same time, Saturn is in vargotama (special position), which is considered very favorable = Victory!
John McCain has Saturn in his (second) sign, Aquarius + not as strong as Obama = Defeat.
. . .
The next elections in the USA were held in 2012. Barack Obama won again.
Note that Obama has Saturn in his sign = TWO terms (similar to the case of JW Bush with Ketu in his own sign).
Mitt Romney has Saturn in the 3rd house in Cancer aspecting the ascendant. This is a significantly weaker influence on the ascendant than with Obama = Defeat.
. . .
The election for the 45th president of the USA was held in 2016. Donald Trump won.
Numerologicaly 45 is reduced to 4 + 5 = 9, which is Mars in astrology.
Donald Trump has Mars on the ascendant in Leo = Victory!
Hillary Clinton has a weak and afflicted Mars in the 2nd house = Defeat.
. . .
The election for the 46th president of the USA was held in 2020. Joe Biden won.
Numerologicaly 46 comes down to this 4 + 6 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1, which is the Sun.
Donald Trump has the Sun as ascendant lord (Leo), but the Sun is heavily afflicted by Rahu… Since Trump doesn’t have the Sun in his own sign – it means he won’t win a second term = Defeat.
Joe Biden has the Sun on the ascendant = Victory!
It is interesting that the current vice president of the USA, Kamala Harris, also has the Sun connected to the ruler of the ascendant in the 5th house (the future, those who inherit, follow…)
. . .
Who will be the 47th president of the USA (2024)?
Numerologically 47 = 4 + 7 = 11 = 1 + 1 = 2, in astrology it is the MOON.
This is a person with the Moon on the ascendant, or strongly connected to the ascendant!
RESUME
- The planets choose their representatives in the cyclically order: 1 Sun, 2 Moon, 3 Jupiter, 4 Rahu, 5 Mercury, 6 Venus, 7 Ketu, 8 Saturn and 9 Mars.
- When the planet is in its own sign, then it gives two mandates.

The American elite certainly has more direct methods than astrological ones, with the help of which they know in advance who wins the elections, and even how many times. The question is why do they invest billions of dollars in presidential campaigns that then cause terrible division, tension, and even hatred among people? I don’t have an answer to that question – but you might find it in: Gnostic texts, Rudolf Steiner’s lectures, Castaneda’s books…
In any case, ancient Indian philosophy, and I would say practice, asserts that the World we live in is māyā, which is often (mis)translated from Sanskrit as the illusion. Perhaps the modern term SIMULATION is a more appropriate term to describe the nature of our Universe.
